Brutal Death Metal from Jogjakarta-INDONESIA.
Formed in the middle 1995, Death Vomit wrote their own Death Metal materials. After a few demos, vomiting the debut album 'Eternally Deprecated' (1999). This album was self released (Demented Mind Records) and succesfully crushed Indonesian Death Metal scene.
Re-released in 2002 under licensed by Extreme Souls Production and more spread the hatred all around Indonesia.
In August 2006 the album called 'The Prophecy' released through Rottrevore Records. Not just prove as an old Death Metal Band, this release more crushing than before and good responses for it.
Latest released, Flames of Hate DVD (2009) by Rottrevore Records, as the first death metal DVD in Indonesia. Following this releases that make Death Vomit crush the stage with Behemoth, Psycroptic, Suffocation, Nile in Indonesia.
The hatred begin. Death Vomit will release the new fucking hatred album this year!

Death Vomit berdiri pada tahun 1995
di kota Jogja. Formasi awal Death Vomit adalah Dede (vocal), Wilman (gitar),
Ary (bas) dan Roy (drum). Sejak awal Death Vomit langsung memainkan lagu-lagu
mereka sendiri walaupun pada saat pementasan memainkan lagu-lagu karya band
lain yang menjadi acuan musik Death Vomit.Tidak lama Death Vomit merekam
reherseal demo untuk diputar di radio-radio yang memiliki program musik metal
radio Mustang dan juga di kota Jogja dan sekitarnya. Berkat demo yang
dikirimkan ke radio-radio, Death Vomit mendapat banyak undangan untuk mengisi
acara diluar kota Jogja seperti Jakarta, Bandung, Purwokerto, Solo, Malang,
Surabaya dan Denpasar.
Pada tahun 1997 Death Vomit ikut serta dalam album kompilasi Metalik Klinik (Rotorcorp/Musica Studio). Dampak dari kompilasi ini membuat Death Vomit semakin dikenal dan sering melakukan pementasan di dalam dan luar kota.
Pada November 1999 akhirnya merilis debut album “Eternally Deprecated” yang diproduksi secara D.I.Y (Do It Yourself) dari proses rekaman, produksi hingga distribusi, Death Vomit melakukannya sendiri melalui label mereka sendiri yaitu Demented Mind Records. Pejualan album ini mencapai 1500 kaset. Dengan kesuksesan ini Extreme Souls Production tertarik untuk mencetak ulang album dimana pada edisi cetak ulang terjual 2200 kaset.
Dengan berjalannya waktu, DEATH VOMIT mengalami kembali pergantian personil. Dan formasi terkini DEATH VOMIT adalah Sofyan Hadi ( Vokal, Gitar ), Oki Hariwibowo ( bass ) dan Roy Agus(Drum).
Pada awal mei 2006, DEATH VOMIT merilis album baru "The Prophecy" dibawah label ROTTREVORE RECORDS yang beredar pada Agustus 2006. Terkini DEATH VOMIT merilis DVD "Flame Of Hate" yang berisi konser tunggal mereka yang menggelontorkan 14 lagu.
